HoYoverse's Honkai: Star Rail is launching its first-ever anime collaboration, teaming up with Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] for a limited-time crossover event featuring iconic characters, a free 5★ Archer (EMIYA), and a highly anticipated limited-time 5★ Saber (Artoria Pendragon) banner.


Titled “Sweet Dreams and the Holy Grail,” this crossover merges the sci-fi realms of Honkai: Star Rail with the fantasy epic of Fate, delivering an original storyline, new playable units, and themed rewards inspired by Type-Moon’s beloved franchise.

Key Features of the Collaboration:

  • Free 5★ Archer (Path: The Hunt, Type: Quantum) — Claimable by all players starting July 11, 2025, simply by logging in during the event period (from Version 3.4 through Version 3.6).

  • Limited-Time 5★ Saber Banner — Artoria Pendragon joins the game as a 5★ Wind/Destruction unit via the collaboration-exclusive Warp event.

  • Exclusive Light Cones:
    • The Hell Where Ideals Burn (Archer's Weapon)
    • A Thankless Coronation (Saber's Weapon)

  • Crossover Storyline — A brand-new narrative questline titled Sweet Dreams and the Holy Grail, where members of the Astral Express investigate an anomaly in Penacony and encounter Heroic Spirits.

  • Event Bonuses — Players can enjoy themed login rewards, collab mission objectives, and additional voice lines featuring original Japanese VAs (Voice-over only available in Japanese, Chinese, and Korean; English voice acting is not included in this collaboration).

The collaboration begins on July 11, 2025, following the rollout of Version 3.4 (which goes live July 2, 2025). The collab content, including the free Archer and Saber banner, will be available across all platforms (PC, iOS, Android, and PlayStation 5) and run through the end of Version 3.6. Players must have unlocked the Xianzhou Luofu region to access the crossover event.

This marks Honkai: Star Rail’s first-ever anime IP collaboration, signaling HoYoverse’s ambitious step toward deeper partnerships with iconic franchises. Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works], a cornerstone of the Type-Moon universe, brings its legendary characters into an entirely new setting—reimagined through the lens of the Astral Express.

Between Saber’s elegant swordplay and Archer’s ideological firepower, fans can expect a visually dynamic, narratively rich crossover experience that pays tribute to both series while opening new story possibilities within Honkai: Star Rail.
